Domino’s has a customer loyalty program called Domino’s Rewards. When it was relaunched in 2023 it drew in 2 million new members. I’ll let you in on the details in this article.
The previous system was less of a rewards program and more of a singular “reward” scheme, as it only offered one thing – a free medium pizza with 2 toppings once you accumulated 60 points. Every order of $10 or more earned you 10 points.
The revamped Domino’s Rewards program, however, offers a variety of new ways to earn and redeem points.
What is Domino’s Rewards?
Last year, Domino’s has launched an enhanced loyalty program named Domino’s Rewards which gives members increased opportunities to earn and redeem points at both corporate and dominoa franchise locations. The new and improved rewards program provides several benefits:
Earn Points Easily
Members will now earn 10 points for every order worth $5.
Redeem Points for a Wider Variety of Menu Items
Members can use their points to redeem, with the following value:
- 20 points: Free dipping cup, a 20 oz. drink or a 16-piece order of Parmesan Bread Bites.
- 40 points: Order of Stuffed Cheesy Bread or Bread Twists
- 60 points: Medium two-topping pizza, Oven-Baked Sandwich, Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes or Pasta.
Exclusive Member Perks
Members will have access to exclusive deals, opportunities to earn bonus points and special discounts.
Mark Messing, Domino’s vice president of digital experience and loyalty, expressed excitement about offering more ways for loyal customers to earn free items more frequently. He emphasized that while many brands are reducing the benefits of their loyalty programs, Domino’s is committed to making it easier for customers to earn rewards and enjoy more options for redeeming them.
Exciting Things in Store for Loyal Domino’s Customers in 2024
Domino’s has big plans for this year and will focus not just on updated equipment but also on marketing initiatives under their “hungry for more” strategy. Domino’s is set to roll out updates to its menu and rewards program while also opening new, more modern stores.
The brand aims to rejuvenate its rewards program by lowering the minimum spending requirement so it’ll be easier for deactivated members to rejoin and offering more opportunities to earn rewards.
It will also increase its menu variety by introducing at least two new items each year. In addition to new menu items, Domino’s plans to expand its brick-and-mortar presence and has targeted 5,500 locations over the next five years. These new stores will feature state-of-the-art ovens, initially installed in new and corporate locations before being introduced to existing stores.
What do 60 Domino’s points get you?
Sixty (60) points can be redeemed for a medium two-topping pizza delivery, pasta, an oven-baked chicken sandwich, or a 3-piece order of Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes.
Do Domino’s points expire?
Yes, they do. If your account remains inactive for 180 days—meaning you haven’t placed an order with Domino’s for six months—your points will expire and be removed from your account. So, make sure to use them when you can. No one likes to waste food, especially pizza, which tastes even better when it’s free!
